Annoncer Integrates with TheFork.

Annoncer integrates with TheFork: connecting reservation data with kitchen operations.

A restaurant should be able to choose the technology that works best for its operation.

That is an important part of how we look at Connected Hospitality Operations at Annoncer. Rather than expecting restaurants to work with one system for everything, we believe the right integrations should allow specialised hospitality solutions to work together.

Our integration with TheFork is another step in that direction, connecting reservation information with the operational workflow in Annoncer.

A reservation contains more than a table and time.

Reservation management has developed far beyond simply planning tables.

Before a guest arrives, a restaurant may already know about dietary requirements, preferences and other details that can help teams prepare.

As TheFork explains:

“Reservation management increasingly involves more than simply keeping track of table planning. Restaurants and hotels are dealing with different channels, changing guest expectations and a large amount of information that needs to be available at the right time.”

For us, that last point is particularly important. Information only becomes truly valuable when it reaches the people who need it.

Why should guest information stop at front of house?

Traditionally, much of the information surrounding a reservation stays with front of house. But many of those details are equally relevant to the kitchen.

Dietary requirements are a clear example. If this information is already known before the guest arrives, it should not depend on someone manually communicating it again during service.

By connecting TheFork with Annoncer, relevant reservation information can become available within the kitchen workflow. This gives the kitchen more context about the guests they are preparing for and reduces the need for manual communication between teams.

After all, front of house and kitchen are preparing for the same guest.

Connected Hospitality Operations.

This is what Connected Hospitality Operations means to us.

Restaurants use specialised technology for reservations, POS, kitchen operations and other parts of their operation. We believe they should have the freedom to choose the solutions that work best for them.

Our role is to connect those systems where it matters.

TheFork shares that view:

“By connecting different systems, you create one ecosystem in which information becomes easier to access and use.”

Good integrations should make technology simpler for the restaurant. Less manual transfer of information, fewer separate processes and relevant information available where it is needed.

From reservation to service.

TheFork sees the reservation as the beginning of the guest experience, rather than the end of an administrative process. The focus is increasingly shifting towards the complete guest journey, from reservation and preparation to the visit itself.

Connecting that journey with the kitchen is a logical next step.

The better a restaurant understands who is coming, the better its teams can prepare. And when information moves between the systems they already use, that preparation does not have to create additional work.

TheFork describes our collaboration as follows:

“We are proud that one of the leading products for the kitchen now integrates with TheFork. By connecting strong hospitality solutions, we can support restaurants in both the kitchen and front of house and contribute to a smoother operation.”

That closely reflects our own vision.

Connected Hospitality Operations isn't about having one system for everything. It's about making sure the systems you choose work together.

So restaurants can keep working with the technology they prefer, while their teams have the information they need to focus on what matters most: the guest.
